Royal Star Long-Range Sportfishing Fish Report

Fish Report for 7-1-2026

Nice day

A moderated pace spreading the action throughout the morning rather than a rush hour push. And while both are fantastic, and result in a similar amount at days end, the easy pace setting allows much more time to practice the craft of angling in many forms. Flyline, yo-yo, surface jigs, dropper loops, etc. all produced today depending on what happened by. Abundant life, both below and above the surface again illustrated an ocean in sync brimming with life. Everything long range anglers set out for is here, as are we. A final day at the southern end of our range will be spent in variety mode tomorrow. Photo today features uncontested master of the surface iron Royal Star angler Dave Kleinsmith in one of the signature moments he came for. Perfect. Ideal. An action shot across the stern in the heat of the moment compliments the whole.
