Well I can’t say today was the barn burner we were hoping for but man was there some fish around. We started this morning off in the southern grounds looking a few schools of non biting tuna waiting for them to turn their noses. With the weather reports showing some non ideal conditions we opted to go north to fully allow us to fish a little longer than being down south.

Luckily this was a blessing in disguise. Scattered fish was seen for miles today that made up a 30 mile long area where you had a chance to catch a bluefin tuna. Unfortunately, today the fish one. Lots of short bites on the kites and casualties led to not as productive as a day as we hoped for. In all we tallied up 4 more delicious tuna fish two weighing 30 pounds and the other two being 130-150.

As far as tonight goes we will not be doing our normal program involving the knife jigs. We will be in along the island fishing for squid and what ever gamefish come our way as the weather progresses. Tomorrow, there is no game plan besides, we’re gonna go fishing!
