Nothing short of an epic day spent in some choppy seas. Started the morning off in full search mode fishing pretty much anything we could find regarding towards floating objects, mammals and/or fish in general. Although they were few and far between, we found a couple of nice kelps that produced some very nice dolphin fish as well as our welcomed guest Mr. Wahoo! We’ve been seeing a handful of these guys lurking around on kelps and in open water just haven’t been able to land one.

Today was a different story. Not only did we manage 3 beauties on the trolling spread we also picked one off on the trusty raider jig via sight fishing. In total we picked up our daily limits of flats ranging from 8-30 pounds mostly in the 10-15 pound class and 4 nice 35-50 pound wahoo! Tomorrow we will be fishing along the beach trying to incorporate both yellowtail and other variety. Might even bounce back offshore looking for some more wahoo and hopefully some yellowfin tuna.
